Fidel Lozano

Fidel has been in the industry for over 20 years, briefly leaving for 2 years and then persuaded to return. Upon his return he started in a leasing position but was eager to advance to assistant manager, which he did for 3 years. Still not settling for this position he asked for a promotion once, twice, and then it finally happened. A bit hesitant to take the position due to not having experience in Section 8 and on top of that the property was going through an energy saving program, it was crunch time, but he successfully rolled out this program. Soon after, this property was the first in Texas to leave Section 8. At this time there was no protocol to achieve this but again, he made it happen. Finally, out of the Section 8 program the property had a 9% rental increase that year — and so commenced his career as property manager. This learning experience helped Fidel move forward with his career but he continued to be eager for more. During his time with American Landmark he has realized the learning and growth opportunities offered and is excited to take on new challenges, looking forward to becoming an indispensable part of the team by increasing his knowledge and experience and helping the team learn, grow, and succeed.
