Artists in Residence

Art Belongs in Everyday Life.

In 2020, American Landmark launched Artists in Residence with a simple idea: make art more accessible by bringing it directly into the places people call home.

The program provides select visual artists, culinary artists, musicians, and educators with no-cost housing, a monthly teaching stipend, and dedicated studio space for up to one year. In return, artists share their talents through weekly, on-site programming that inspires creativity, connection, and community.

What began as a bold idea has become a growing platform for emerging creatives—and a new way for neighbors to come together.

Creating OpportunityCity Teaching Alliance

Non-profit dedicated to identifying, preparing, and retaining exceptional career educators.
Partnership ensures early-career teachers have access to high-quality housing, letting them focus on improving educational and life outcomes.
Participants in the residency program receive a one- or two-bedroom apartment at a reduced monthly rental rate for a one-year lease term.
Housed 34 educators in 2024.

Investing in the FutureBrooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School

For four years, American Landmark has partnered with Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School to help prepare students for life and future careers.
Together, we provide opportunities to develop practical skills including résumé writing, interviewing, and personal financial literacy.
